Our reel splitter is incredibly efficient. How? The movement of the blade is controlled by a hydraulic pressure circuit, which significantly reduces the cutting time of paper. The cutter is driven by two specially constructed cylinders with synchronised movement. The cylinders are fitted with two guide shafts for better power distribution over the cylinder.
The two-stage pump of the hydraulic unit is protected against overload. The blade is protected with safety guards. Do you want to comply with CE machine guidelines? Then you need to have safety fencing for safety reasons. Other requirements to comply with CE machine guidelines depends on the set up of the machine. Our reel splitter is operated by a PLC control. On the front panel of the control box is a two-hand push button control, which lowers the blade. Extra safe, because the cutter cannot be operated with one hand. Do you need to stop the splitting machine immediately? Press the emergency stop button and the machine turns off straightaway and the blade returns to the top. Installation of our reel splitter is easy as it does not need special foundations and can be height-adjusted by means of adjustable feet.
Our reel splitter machine is 100% ready to use after we deliver it to you. We have ensured the surface treatment is completed to the highest quality. All parts are degreased, cleaned and provided with an alkyd resin machine paint with a dry film thickness of 80 mµ in the colour RAL 7024 (Graphite grey). Our paper splitting machine has been designed in accordance with the CE machine regulations and comes with operating instructions including electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
