Roll-cutting machine for paper, cardboard, plastic, and film
Are you looking for a machine that can cut rolls of paper, cardboard, plastic, foil and more? Then you have come to the right place at BOA. Our hydraulic reel cutting machine HRSM is perfect for this purpose.
Efficient cutting with hydraulic power, precise control, and a focus on safety.
BOA’s HRSM hydraulic roll slitter is designed for cutting rolls of paper, cardboard, plastic, film, and other materials. The machine combines electronically controlled blade movement with hydraulic technology and adjustment options for precise fine-tuning of the cutting process.
Efficient and precise cutting
The blade’s movement is electronically controlled and monitored. The blade is guided by guide shafts, which minimizes the lateral forces transmitted to the hydraulic cylinders. The synchronization of the two cylinders is also electronically monitored and adjusted as needed. The maximum cutting depth and pump speed are adjustable to ensure proper machine calibration.
Electronically controlled and monitored blade movement
Adjustable maximum cutting depth
Adjustable pump speed for precise adjustment
Safety as a Priority
Safety is central to the design of the roll-cutting machine. The hydraulic unit’s pump is protected against overload. If an overload occurs during cutting, the blade moves back up. BOA also offers safety guards that can be connected to the machine’s emergency stop circuit.
Safety features:
Hydraulic pump protected against overload
Two-hand control for operating the blade
Emergency stop switch that immediately raises the blade and shuts down the machine
Easy operation with PLC control
The roll cutting machine is operated via a PLC control system. The front panel of the control cabinet features a two-hand push-button control that lowers the blade. This prevents the cutter from being operated with just one hand. Furthermore, the machine can be installed without special foundation work and adjusted to the correct height using leveling feet.
Finished and ready for delivery
Prior to delivery, the components are degreased and cleaned, and coated with alkyd resin-based industrial paint with a dry film thickness of 80 µm. The roll-cutting machine is designed in accordance with the CE Machinery Directive and is supplied with operating instructions and electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
