Our bag opener allows us to open bags in a controlled manner so that the material can then be further processed. The machine is easy to operate and suitable for large and small bags, bales, and fine materials, among other things.
Controlled Opening of Bags
The bags are fed onto a slowly rotating rotor equipped with spirally arranged hammers. This rotor transports the material to an adjustable, robust counter-screen. After being opened, the material falls onto a conveyor belt or conveying system at the bottom of the machine.

Protected against overload
The rotor is driven directly via a planetary drive and V-belts. In the event of an overload, the feed stops and the rotor briefly rotates in the opposite direction. This design helps limit overload and shock to the drive.

Speed and capacity can be adjusted via a frequency control. In addition, the bag opener features an adjustable cleaning mechanism that prevents material from wrapping around the rotor.
