Impress® Series horizontal balers are equipped with a pre-compression valve. They are suitable for compacting materials that are difficult to process. The pre-compression valve in the hopper closes the press chamber before the cylinder executes the cycle. In this way, the material is compressed in the hopper, cutting the material is largely unnecessary. The result, compared to advanced presses, is up to 30% lower energy consumption at the same capacity and lower wear and operating costs. The pre-press valve is designed so that vertical forces are well absorbed.
The flap is closed with two pull-out hydraulic cylinders, so there is always enough force to open the flap. The press is suitable for processing paper, cardboard, plastic film, plastic drums, PET beverage bottles and mixed material. In addition, control options ensure optimum baling results in the form of heavy, well-shaped and stackable bales.
