In our roller cutting machine, the movement of the blade is electronically controlled, and monitored The blade guide is realized by means of guided shafts, so that minimal transverse forces are transferred to the hydraulic cylinders. The synchronization of the two cylinders is electronically monitored and adjusted if necessary. The maximum cutting depth can be set, as well as the pumping speed, to achieve perfect adjustment.
Safety aspects of the roller cutter
The pump of the hydraulic unit is protected against overload. Even if overloaded during cutting, the blade will move back up. Also, for your safety, we always offer protective gates with the machine. The control panel is equipped with a so-called two-hand control. The basic principle is always that safety is sufficiently guaranteed.
Roller cutting machine with PLC control
The machine is operated by PLC control. On the front panel of the control box there is a two-hand push-button control that can be used to lower the blade. This is extra safe because the cutter cannot be operated with one hand. Is something wrong? A press on the emergency stop switch immediately sends the blade up and switches off the machine. The machine can be placed without special foundation facilities and raised to height by means of leveling feet.
At all points the roller cutter is perfectly finished before we deliver it to you. For surface treatment, all parts are degreased, cleaned and coated with an alkyd resin-based machine paint with a dry film thickness of 80 mµ.
