History

BOA Recycling has been building machines for the future since the 1950s. What started as a down-to-earth family business in the Netherlands grew into an international player with branches in Germany and the United Kingdom.

Its origins lie with the Papiercentrale Twente (PCT). There, the first presses were developed and placed with existing suppliers innovative for the time. From that practical experience, a separate division was created that focused entirely on the production of balers. The PCT functioned as a showroom where machines were tested in use, and in the building next door grew the production location in Enschede.

In the early years, the emphasis was on paper and cardboard. Later, solutions were added for other streams such as plastics and commercial industrial waste. We deliberately choose the markets where our technology makes a difference-not a comprehensive portfolio, but reliable solutions that revolve around innovation, robustness and minimal downtime.

Today BOA runs in more than 30 countries. Our history shows where we came from, but more importantly, it provides direction for the future. Always together with our customers. Always focused on getting more value out of every ton of waste.
